Several random things ...

Yesterday put my bike up for the winter. It was very sad in some ways but also like giving a gift to myself going forward. Come spring i'll get to be all excited that I get to take it out of storage and go riding again!

Also tried to go dancing at Retronome last night and realized it's just not a good venue for me. Within 30 mins my head was killing me from the overall volume of the place.

Also, riverstillnes turned me on to squirrelly wrath ... one of the truly funny things I have come across on the web ...

Went to Metronome last night with a delightful group of folks and while I had intended to do a little dancing (at least what passes for dancing for me) I realized something ...

When the music is THAT loud and intense I have a tendency to sit there and let the sound wash over me and just absorb it ... which has the side effect of making it hard for me to move. So while I was with a group of really amazing (and SEXY as hell) people, I ended up just sitting and experiencing the music for most of the night...

I also started trying to put together a little style (thanks to everyone to gave me encouragement and some excellent tips (here's looking at you faerydusted1). No pictures yet but once it's a little further along I'll post something ... but it was described to me by people as 'more disheveled than usual, but good' and 'very firefly'.
